市委外办主任曹赛先与加拿大多伦多副市长黄旻南视频座谈

　　7月5日，市委外办主任曹赛先与加拿大多伦多副市长黄旻南（Denzil Minnan-Wong）、多伦多市经济发展与文化局局长谢丽尔·布莱克曼（Cheryl Blackman）举行视频座谈，双方就深圳与多伦多友城交流合作情况交换了意见，并对未来合作意愿和具体合作项目达成共识。深圳市贸促委副主任汤进、市商务局驻北美经贸首席代表于智荣出席会议。

　　On July 5, Cao Saixian, Director General of Shenzhen Foreign Affairs Office met with Denzil Minnan-Wong, Deputy Mayor of Toronto and Cheryl Blackman, City of Toronto General Manager of Economic Development & Culture via a video link during which they exchanged views on the cooperation between Shenzhen and Toronto and their willingness to cooperate in the future. Tang Jin, Deputy Director General of CCPIT Shenzhen, and Yu Zhirong, Economic and Trade Representative of the Shenzhen Commerce Bureau in North America, attended and spoke at the meeting.

　　黄旻南副市长高度评价深圳与多伦多两地在友城框架下务实合作成果。他称多伦多市高度重视与深圳的友好交流关系，希望通过常态化的工作交流机制，不断挖掘两市在各领域的交流合作潜力，推动两市交流合作取得更丰富的积极成果。

　　Deputy Mayor Minnan-Wong highly praised the achievements of practical cooperation between the two cities under the friendly exchange framework. He said that the city of Toronto attached great importance to this relationship with Shenzhen, and hoped that through regular working exchange mechanism, the two cities would continue to explore the cooperation potential in various fields, and push for more positive outcomes of the collaboration between the two cities.

　　曹赛先主任介绍了深圳经济社会发展最新情况和推进“双区”建设情况，回顾了两市结好5年以来各领域交流与合作情况。她希望与黄旻南副市长、布莱克曼局长一道，进一步深化深圳与多伦多友好关系，在经贸、信息技术、人文、教育等更多领域开展务实合作，共同策划举办一些有意义的活动，增进两地民间友好情谊，实现双方共赢发展。

　　Director General Cao introduced Shenzhen’s latest socioeconomic and dual-area development, and reviewed the exchange and cooperation between the two cities in various fields since establishing friendship ties five years ago. She hoped that Deputy Mayor Minnan-Wong and GM Blackman could help further deepen the friendship between Shenzhen and Toronto, develop practical cooperation in economy and trade, information technology, people-to-people exchanges and education, plan and organize meaningful activities, enhance the ties between the two cities and achieve win-win cooperation for both sides.

　　布莱克曼局长简要介绍了多伦多最新发展情况。她称，多伦多与深圳在城市发展理念与创新特质上有非常高的相似性和匹配度，并希望两地相关部门进一步搭建对接平台、深挖合作机遇，力促更多合作成果惠及两地市民。

　　GM Blackman gave a brief introduction to the latest development of Toronto. She said that Toronto and Shenzhen enjoyed high degree of similarity and compatibility in terms of urban development concepts and innovation features, and hoped that relevant departments of the two cities would build more networks to connect and further deepen cooperation opportunities, so as to yield more fruits that benefit people of the two cities.
