曹赛先主任会见马来西亚驻广州总领事一行 Director General Cao Saixian Meets with Malaysian Consul General in Guangzhou Suraya Binti Ahmad Pauzi

  33日,市委外办主任曹赛先会见到访的马来西亚驻广州总领事苏莱雅(Suraya Binti Ahmad Pauzi)一行。

  On March 3, Director General Cao Saixianof Shenzhen Foreign Affairs Office had a meeting with the visiting delegation led by Consul General of Malaysia in Guangzhou Suraya Binti Ahmad Pauzi.

  曹主任对苏莱雅总领事一行访深表示欢迎,并介绍深圳最新经济社会发展情况,分享了反映深圳精神和文化价值观的“深圳十大观念”。她说,中国和马来西亚是隔海相望的传统友好邻邦,今年适逢中马两国建立全面战略伙伴关系10周年,明年是中马建交50周年,希望以此为契机推动深圳与马来西亚在友城结好、文化旅游、经贸投资等领域的交流合作,结合两地优势撬动粤港澳大湾区与东盟国家的互利共赢合作。

  Director General Cao Saixian welcomed the delegation to Shenzhen. She introduced to the delegation the city’s latest socioeconomic developments, and “10 Major Philosophies of Shenzhen” reflecting its city spirit and cultural values. China and Malaysia are traditional friendly neighbors across the South China Sea, Director General Cao said, adding that this year marks the 10th anniversary of the establishment of China-Malaysia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, and that next year will see the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic ties between the two countries. It is hoped that against this backdrop, opportunities could be taken to drive the exchanges and cooperation in such areas as sister-city relations, culture and tourism, and economy and trade, and advantages of Shenzhen and Malaysia could be leveraged to deliver mutually beneficial and win-win cooperation between Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and ASEAN countries.

  苏莱雅总领事对曹主任的热情接待表示感谢。她谈到,广东尤其是深圳是马来西亚重要贸易伙伴,两地往来密切、互动频繁。未来将积极支持马来西亚与深圳的友好交往,希望疫情后两地在经贸投资、文化旅游、高新技术等领域有更多的交流合作。

  Consul General Surayathanked Director General Cao Saixian for the warm reception. She said that Guangdong Province, especially Shenzhen, is an important trading partner of Malaysia with closer and frequent exchanges. Going forward, Malaysia will actively push for its friendly exchanges with Shenzhen. Hopefully, more exchanges and cooperation between the two sides will be seen in areas like economy, trade, investment, culture, tourism, and high and new technologies.
