市领导会见沙特阿卜杜拉国王科技大学客人 Municipal Leaders Meet with the KAUST Delegation

　　3月17日，市委常委、市委组织部部长程步一，市委常委、市政府党组成员郑红波会见沙特阿卜杜拉国王科技大学校长陈繁昌一行，就中沙高校合作、科技创新、产业合作等事项开展深入探讨与交流。

　　On March 17, Member of the Standing Committee and Director General of Organization Department of CPC Shenzhen Municipal Committee Cheng Buyi and Member of the Standing Committee of CPC Shenzhen Municipal Committee and Member of CPC Leadership Group of Shenzhen Municipal Government Zheng Hongbo met with the delegation of King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) led by President Tony Chan. In-depth discussion and exchanges between both sides covered cooperation in technological innovation and among universities and industries.

　　双方表示，深圳与沙特阿卜杜拉国王科技大学在教育、科技、人才等领域均发展迅速，合作空间广阔，将继续巩固和扩大在科技研究、创新创业、人才培养等方面的交流与合作，携手共同发展。

　　The two sides suggested that Shenzhen and KAUST enjoy rapid progress in such areas as education, science and technology and talent development, promising greater room for cooperation. For common development, both sides will remain committed to consolidated and expanded exchanges and cooperation in R&D, innovation and entrepreneurship, and talent training.

　　在随后举行的沙特阿卜杜拉国王科技大学代表团访问深圳合作项目签约仪式上，阿卜杜拉国王科技大学与香港中文大学（深圳）、深圳市大数据研究院、南方科技大学、深圳清华大学研究院、中国科学院深圳先进技术研究院/深圳理工大学（筹）、深圳科创学院、粤港澳大湾区数字经济研究院、深圳零一学院签署了合作备忘录，涵盖研究项目、人才培养、创新创业等领域。

　　In the subsequent signing ceremony of cooperation projects, KAUST signedmultiple MOUs with CUHK (Shenzhen), SRIBD, SUSTech, RITS, SIAT, Shenzhen InnoX Academy, IDEA, Shenzhen X-Institute, covering research projects, talent development, and innovation and entrepreneurship.
