市政府外办主任会见乌兹别克斯坦驻广州总领事一行 Director General of Shenzhen Foreign Affairs Office Met with the Consul General of Uzbekistan in Guangzhou

　　7月21日，深圳市人民政府外事办公室主任曹赛先会见乌兹别克斯坦驻广州总领事奥塔别克·瓦利耶夫先生 (Mr. Otabek VALIEV)一行3人。

　　On 21 July, Director General Cao Saixian of the Shenzhen Municipal Foreign Affairs Office, met with the delegation led by Mr. Otabek VALIEV, Consul General of Uzbekistan in Guangzhou.

　　曹主任向外宾介绍了深圳的经济社会发展情况。曹主任谈到，中国和乌兹别克斯坦都是文明古国，丝绸之路见证了两国人民两千多年的友好交往。近年来，中乌两国持续深化战略互信，不断扩大互利合作，双方高层互访不断。深圳将在中乌两国元首于中国－中亚峰会签署的联合声明框架下，与乌兹别克斯坦在数字贸易、经贸、文化、旅游等领域开展合作，为双方企业和产业界合作创造更加有利的条件。同时，希望总领事支持推进深圳与乌兹别克斯坦撒马尔罕两地的友好交往。

　　Director General Cao introduced the economic and social development of Shenzhen. Cao said that China and Uzbekistan are both ancient civilizations, and the Silk Road has witnessed the friendly exchanges between the two peoples for more than two thousand years. In recent years, China and Uzbekistan have continued to deepen strategic mutual trust and expand mutually beneficial co-operation, and both sides have exchanged high-level visits. Under the framework of the joint statement signed by the heads of state of China and Uzbekistan at the China-Central Asia Summit, Shenzhen will cooperate with Uzbekistan in the fields of digital trade, economy and trade, culture and tourism, and create more favourable conditions for cooperation between enterprises and industries of the two sides. At the same time, it is hoped that the Consul General will support the promotion of friendly exchanges between Shenzhen and Samarkand, Uzbekistan.

　　奥塔别克·瓦利耶夫总领事表示，深圳这座年轻城市取得的惊人成就令人震撼。乌兹别克斯坦希望充分利用深圳市改革开放经验和成果优势，进一步加强两地经贸投资、旅游、教育等领域合作，打造多元立体合作格局，为中乌友好深入人心作出贡献。

　　Consul General Otabek said that the amazing achievements of the young city of Shenzhen are astonishing. Uzbekistan hopes to make full use of the advantages of Shenzhen’s reform and opening-up experience and achievements to further strengthen the cooperation between the two places in the fields of economy, trade and investment, tourism, education to create a diversified and three-dimensional pattern of cooperation, and to contribute to the deepening of China-Uzbekistan friendship.
