曹赛先主任与英国驻广州总领事孟诗然座谈Director General Cao Saixian Meets with British Consul General in Guangzhou Sarah Mann

　　9月4日，市委外办曹赛先主任与到访的英国驻广州总领事孟诗然（Sarah Mann）一行座谈。

　　On September 4, Director General Cao Saixian of Shenzhen Foreign Affairs Office met with Sarah Mann, British Consul General in Guangzhou.

　　曹赛先主任对孟诗然总领事一行表示欢迎，并介绍深圳是一座年轻、创新、绿色、多元、开放的经济中心城市，也是一座改革的城市。她指出，深圳与英国爱丁堡市互为友好城市，与伦敦金融城及苏格兰地区互为友好交流城市，友城合作基础良好，合作前景广阔。希望在孟诗然总领事的支持下，与英国城市间开展更丰富的交流，在金融、科技等领域开展更深入的合作，不断增进两地人民之间的了解与友谊。

　　Director General Cao Saixian welcomed Consul General to Shenzhen, introduced Shenzhen as a young, innovative, green, diverse and open city, an economic center city and a city of reform. She said that Shenzhen maintains sister city relationship with Edinburgh and friendship city ties with the city of London and Scotland, all with solid cooperation foundation. She hoped that with the help from Consul General Mann, cooperation in finance and technology can be promoted and understandings and friendship furthered.

　　孟诗然总领事表示，深圳与英国合作基础深厚，希望继续推动深圳与英国各友城的务实合作，为两地人民带来更多福祉。

　　Consul General said that Shenzhen and the UK have had many practical cooperation results. She hoped to deepen cooperation between Shenzhen and the sister and friendship cities in the UK, benefiting peoples from both sides.

　　曹主任还简要介绍了粤港澳大湾区及河套深港科技创新合作区概况及发展规划，欢迎更多英国大学、机构参与入驻，共享发展机遇。

　　Director General Cao also gave a brief introduction to the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and Hetao Shenzhen-Hong Kong Science and Technology Zone, and welcomed participation from more British universities and institutions.
