市委外办主任曹赛先与新西兰克赖斯特彻奇市政府国际关系部主任视频座谈

　　3月23日，市委外办主任曹赛先与新西兰克赖斯特彻奇市政府国际关系部主任马特·尼科尔斯（Matt Nichols）举行视频座谈，交流两市最新经济社会发展情况，探讨推动和深化两市友好交流城市关系。

　　OnMarch23, Director General of Shenzhen Foreign Affairs Office Cao Saixian held an online meeting with Matt Nichols, Manager of Civic & International Relations of Christchurch, New Zealand. They exchanged the two cities’ latest economic and social development, and shared ideas of promoting and deepening the friendship city relationship between Shenzhen and Christchurch.

　　曹赛先主任介绍了深圳经济社会发展最新情况和推进“双区”建设情况，推介了深圳正在发起筹建的世界创新城市合作组织，回顾了两市自2015年4月缔结友好交流城市关系以来的交流合作。今年是中国和新西兰建交50周年。她希望与尼科尔斯主任一道，共同推动深圳与克赖斯特彻奇在经贸、文化、教育、生态、旅游等领域的交流合作，共同策划举办一些有意义的活动，增进双方友谊，实现共赢发展。

　　Director General Caobriefed on the latest economic and social development of Shenzhen and the updates of promoting the development of the “Two Areas”(Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the Pilot Demonstration Area of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics). She also introduced the World Innovative Cities Cooperation Organization initiative and reviewed on the past exchanges and cooperation between both cities since the establishment of friendship city relationship in April 2015. On the occasion of the 50^thanniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and New Zealand this year, she hoped to work with Manager Nichols to co-organize meaningful activities and events to promote exchanges and cooperation in the fields of economy and trade, culture, education, ecology and tourism, to deepen friendship and achieve win-win development between the two cities.

　　尼科尔斯主任介绍了克赖斯特彻奇市国际关系发展战略规划。他希望两市外事部门携手努力，深化合作，在已有的友好关系基础上不断挖掘两市在各领域的交流合作潜力，推动两市交流合作取得积极成果。

　　Manager Nichols introduced Christchurch’s strategic planof international relations. He hoped to work together with Shenzhen Foreign Affairs Office to deepen cooperation, continuously explore the potential of cooperation in various fields between the two cities on the basis of the existing friendly relations, to achieve fruitful results.
