曹赛先主任会见澳大利亚驻广州总领事邓安义 Director General Cao Saixian Met with Australian Consul General in Guangzhou

　　6月27日，曹赛先主任会见到访的澳大利亚驻广州总领事邓安义一行。

　　On June 27, Director General Cao Saixian met with Mr. Anthony Aspden, Consul General of Australia in Guangzhou.

　　曹赛先主任对邓安义总领事一行访深表示欢迎，介绍了深圳最新经济社会发展情况，回顾了近年来深圳与布里斯班、北领地和达尔文等澳地方政府的友好交往情况。她表示，深圳与悉尼直飞航班已于近期恢复，为双方人员往来和交流提供了便利条件，希望未来与总领事一道，继续推进深圳与澳大利亚在各领域务实合作。

　　Director General Cao welcomed the delegation to  Shenzhen, and gave a brief introduction to the latest economic and social development of the city. She also reviewed the friendly exchanges between Shenzhen and Brisbane, the Northern Territory, Darwin and other Australian local governments. Recently direct flights on the Shenzhen-Sydney route have been resumed, providing convenience for people-to-people exchanges and visits between the two sides. Cao expressed willingness to work with the Consul General to further promote pragmatic cooperation in various fields between Shenzhen and Australia.

　　邓安义总领事愉快地回忆了2006年他随澳大利亚前总理霍华德首次访深的情景。他表示，澳大利亚已通过气候变化法案，正在朝零排放目标努力，希望未来与深圳重点加强绿色产业领域合作。他期待尽快恢复深圳与澳大利亚的各条航线，欢迎深圳企业和游客前往澳大利亚，洽谈合作或旅游观光，促进两地经贸合作及人文交流。

　　Mr. Aspden happily recalled his first visit to Shenzhen with former Australian Prime Minister John Howard in 2006. He pointed out that Australia is working towards a zero-emission target through the Climate Change Bills, and would like to stress on cooperation with Shenzhen on green economy. He looked forward to resumption of more routes between Shenzhen and Australia in the near future, and welcomed Shenzhen enterprises and tourists to Australia in order to strengthen economic and trade cooperation and people-to-people exchanges between the two sides.
