德国纽伦堡代表团访问深圳

　　5月17至20日，德国纽伦堡代表团访问深圳。代表团由纽伦堡市国际关系办公室负责人及该地区市民共22人组成。代表团在深期间参观了深圳博物馆、深圳音乐学院、深圳巴士集团，赴宝安区参观交流，市民团赴南头古城、锦绣中华等地游览，并赴我市市民家庭参观交流。

　　From May 17th to 20th, a German delegation from Nuremberg visited Shenzhen. The delegation consisted of 22 members, including head of Nuremberg’s Department of International Relations and local citizens. During their stay in Shenzhen, all delegates visited the Shenzhen Museum, Shenzhen Conservatory of Music, and Shenzhen Bus Group, and had a brief tour in Bao'an District. Delegates who are Nuremberg citizens explored Nantou Ancient City and Splendid China, and visited Shenzhen local families.

　　市对外友协专职副会长顾挺会见了代表团一行，介绍深圳是一座开放、创新、绿色的城市，以及深圳经济社会最新发展情况，探讨未来与纽伦堡的合作。纽伦堡市国际关系办公室负责人介绍了该市近年来的发展，表达了与我市在各领域开展合作的愿望。

　　Mr. Gu Ting, Vice President of Shenzhen People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, met with the delegation and introduced Shenzhen to them as an open, innovative, and green city. Gu also gave a brief on the city’s latest economic and social development, and discussed future bilateral cooperation. The Director of Nuremberg’s Department of  International Relations briefed on the development of the city in recent years and expressed the desire to cooperate with Shenzhen in various fields.

　　纽伦堡位于德国巴伐利亚州，总面积186平方公里，人口52万，是巴伐利亚州第二大城市，仅次于首府慕尼黑。1997年，我市与纽伦堡地区四市（纽伦堡、埃尔朗根、富特、施瓦巴赫市）四县（纽伦堡、富特、罗特和埃尔朗根－赫希施特县）共同签署友好城市关系并在众多领域开展了丰富的交流合作。

　　Nuremberg is located in the state of Bavaria, Germany, with a total area of 186 square kilometers and a population of about 520，000. It is the second largest city in Bavaria, second only to the capital Munich. In 1997, Shenzhen became sister cities with the region of Nuremberg, which include four cities , namely Nuremberg, Erlangen, Fute, Schwarzbach, and four counties, namely, Nuremberg, Fute, Rote, and Erlangen- Herchstadt. The two sides conducted a variety of exchanges and cooperation in extensive fields.
