曹赛先主任会见克罗地亚中国文化交流中心主任一行

　　7月30日，市委外办曹赛先主任会见了克罗地亚中国文化交流中心主任刘丽英女士一行。

　　On July 30^th, Director General Cao Saixian of Shenzhen Foreign Affairs Office met with Liu Pilato Liying, Director of Croatia-China Culture Exchange Center.

　　曹赛先主任与刘丽英女士就进一步加强深圳与克罗地亚交流合作交换了看法，并表示将共同努力、推动深圳与克罗地亚首都萨格勒布结为友好交流城市。在友好交流城市的合作框架下，继续深化深圳与克罗地亚全方位往来，特别是在新能源、垃圾处理等领域技术的交流互鉴。

　　Director General Cao and Director Liu exchanged ideas on how to further cooperation between Shenzhen and Croatia, agreeing to make joint efforts and help build a friendship city bond between Shenzhen and the capital city Zagreb. Under this framework, the two cities will deepen all-round cooperation, especially in the fields of new energy and waste disposal technologies.

　　克罗地亚位于欧洲中南部，巴尔干半岛西北部。面积5.66万平方公里，人口400万，以造船业、食品加工业、农业及旅游产业著称。首都萨格勒布位于克罗地亚西北部，人口80万，是克罗地亚政治、经济、文化中心，也是国际知名的旅游胜地。

　　Croatia is located in south-central Europe, north-west of the Balkan Peninsula. With an area of 56,600 square kilometres and a population of 4 million, it is famous for its shipbuilding industry, food processing industry, agriculture and tourism industry. Zagreb, the capital, is located in the north-western part of Croatia, with a population of 800,000, and is the political, economic and cultural centre, as well as an internationally renowned tourist destination.
