市委外办主任曹赛先会见希腊驻广州总领事曼达里蒂斯

　　8月5日，市委外办主任曹赛先会见来访的希腊驻广州总领事马提诺斯·曼达里蒂斯（Martinos Mandalidis）。

　　On August 5, 2024, Director General Cao Saixian of Shenzhen Foreign Affairs Office met with Mr. Martinos Mandalidis, Consul General of Greece in Guangzhou.

　　曹赛先主任对曼达里蒂斯总领事来访表示欢迎，简要介绍了深圳经济社会最新发展情况，并表达了对进一步推进深圳与希腊在展会经济、海洋城市建设、文化交流等领域合作的期望。她提到，深圳市政协代表团将于9月访问希腊，希望以此为契机，重启深圳、雅典友城实地交往，推动在远洋海事、人文旅游等领域的务实交流与合作。

　　Director General Cao welcomed Consul General Mandalidis, introduced the latest socioeconomic developments of Shenzhen, and expressed her expectations for future cooperation between Shenzhen and Greece in the fields of exhibition economy, maritime city construction, cultural exchanges and so on. She pointed out that the delegation of Shenzhen Municipal Committee of Political Consultative Conference will visit Greece in September, and hoped that this would be an opportunity to promote practical cooperation in the maritime industry, people-to-people exchanges and tourism, and to resume mutual visits between Shenzhen and Athens, under the framework of the friendship city bond.

　　曼达里蒂斯总领事感谢曹赛先主任的热情接待，并回顾了任职以来深圳与希腊在食品、高等教育和文化领域的合作情况。他表示，希腊高度重视与深圳的合作，看好双方巨大的合作潜力，期待在深圳市委外办的支持下，进一步促进两地文化交流与人员往来，推动多领域的务实合作。

　　Consul General Mandalidis thanked Director General Cao Saixian for her warm reception, and reviewed the cooperation in the fields of food, higher education and culture between Shenzhen and Greece in his tenure. He said that Greece highly values the cooperation with Shenzhen and the huge potential in this regard, and hoped to promote pragmatic cooperation in cultural and people-to-people exchanges with Shenzhen.
