市委外办主任曹赛先会见悉尼市议员郭耀文

　　Director General Cao Saixian and Deputy Director General Zhong Jiajun briefed Councillor Kok on Shenzhen’s recent socio-economic development and the city’s exchanges and cooperation with Australia. Director General Cao expressed hope that both sides would work together to actively implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, strengthen practical cooperation in relevant fields, and promote friendship between the cities. Lin Yi, Deputy Director General of the Shenzhen Industry and Information Technology Bureau and Director of the Shenzhen Artificial Intelligence Industry Office, introduced Shenzhen’s industrial and information technology development, particularly in the field of artificial intelligence. The two sides exchanged views on enhancing intergovernmental exchanges and cooperation in trade, economy, and AI.

　　Councillor Kok noted that Sydney is Australia’s hub for business, trade, finance, culture, transportation, and tourism, home to many enterprises, financial institutions, universities, and foreign-related organizations, with active international engagement. He spoke highly of Shenzhen’s achievements in socio-economic development and technological innovation, expressing his willingness to actively promote cooperation between the two cities in trade, culture, tourism, education, and other fields, fostering mutual understanding and friendship between the peoples.
