市委外办主任曹赛先会见泰国外交部东亚司司长披亚巴克·西里乍伦一行

　　3月20日，市委外办主任曹赛先会见到访的泰国外交部东亚司司长披亚巴克·西里乍伦一行，泰国驻广州总领事沈勇俊陪同出席。

　　On March 20, Madam Cao Saixian, Director General of Shenzhen Foreign Affairs Office, met with a visiting delegation led by Mr. Piyapak Sricharoen, Director General of Department of East Asian Affairs, Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Mr. Kajtiti Wiwatwanont, Consul General of Thailand in Guangzhou attended the meeting. 

　　曹赛先主任对披亚巴克司长一行的到访表示欢迎，并介绍了深圳最新经济社会发展情况。她说，今年是“十五五”开局之年、APEC会议在深举办之年，深圳将抢抓并用好这一重大机遇，进一步扩大国际合作，加快打造更具全球影响力的现代化国际大都市。深圳与泰国交往合作密切，希望双方进一步加强在友城交往、经贸投资、文化旅游等领域友好交流合作。

　　Director General Cao welcomed Director General Sricharoen and his delegation, and briefed the group on Shenzhen’s latest socioeconomic developments. This year marks the first year of the 15th Five-Year Plan, and will see the convening of the APEC meetings in Shenzhen, she said, adding that the city will seize and leverage this great opportunity, to further its international cooperation and speed up to build itself into a modern cosmopolis with more global clout. Shenzhen and Thailand have maintained close exchanges and cooperation. Hopefully, the two sides will further friendly exchanges and cooperation in such areas as friendship city exchange, trade, investment, culture and tourism.

　　披亚巴克司长对曹赛先主任的热情接待表示感谢，并分享了泰国筹备2022年APEC会议的相关经验。他高度赞赏深圳改革开放所取得的伟大成就，认为深圳是中国式现代化的城市典范。他希望泰国与深圳进一步深化在科技创新、经贸投资、绿色低碳等领域务实合作。

　　Director General Sricharoen thanked Director General Cao for her warm hospitality, and shared the experience of preparatory work for the APEC meetings held in Thailand in 2022. He highly commended the great achievements of Shenzhen’s reform and opening-up, and thought the city as a fantastic showcase of Chinese modernization. Director General Sricharoen hopes to cement pragmatic cooperation between Thailand and Shenzhen in various fields, including technology, innovation, trade, investment, and low-carbon development.
