市委外办主任曹赛先会见印度驻广州总领事马经儒一行

　　3月25日，市委外办主任曹赛先会见到访的印度驻广州总领事马经儒（Gince Kuruvilla Mattam）一行。

　　On March 25, Cao Saixian, Director General of Shenzhen Foreign Affairs Office met with a visiting delegation led by Gince Kuruvilla Mattam, Consul General of India in Guangzhou. 

　　曹主任对马经儒总领事一行的到访表示欢迎，祝贺总领事履新，并介绍深圳最新经济社会发展情况。她说，去年是中国和印度建交75周年，习近平主席和莫迪总理在上海合作组织天津峰会上达成重要共识，为中印关系改善和发展指明方向。今年是“十五五”开局之年、APEC会议在深举办之年，深圳将抢抓并用好这一重大机遇，进一步推动深圳与印度在人文交往、文化旅游、城市治理、民生福祉等领域交流合作，实现合作共赢。

　　Director General Cao welcomed the delegation, congratulated Consul General Gince on his new role, and briefed the group on the latest socioeconomic developments of Shenzhen. She said, last year marked the 75th anniversary of the diplomatic ties between China and India. President Xi Jinping and Prime Minister Modi reached important consensus during Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit in Tianjin, charting the course for improving and developing China-India relations. This year marks the first year of the 15th Five-Year Plan, and will see the opening of the APEC meetings in Shenzhen. For win-win results, the city will seize and leverage this major opportunity to further exchanges and cooperation between Shenzhen and India in the following areas, including people-to-people exchange, culture, tourism, city governance and people’s well-being.

　　马经儒总领事对曹主任的热情接待表示感谢。他说道，印度驻广州总领事馆希望与深圳市政府加强经验分享、互通有无。深圳是一座锐意创新的大都市，愿在两国领导人的战略引领下，积极支持两地在经贸投资、文化旅游和科技创新等领域友好交流合作。

　　Consul General Gince thanked Director General Cao for her warm hospitality. He said, his consulate general hopes to work with Shenzhen government to enhance experience sharing and supply each other’s needs. Shenzhen is an innovative cosmopolis. Under the strategic guidance of two national leaders, India stands ready to support friendly exchanges and cooperation with Shenzhen in such areas as trade, investment, culture, tourism, technology and innovation.
