市委外办主任曹赛先会见泰国驻广州总领事沈勇俊一行

　　9月16日，市委外办主任曹赛先会见到访的泰王国驻广州总领事沈勇俊（Kajtiti Wiwatwanont）一行。

　　On September 16, Cao Saixian, Director General of Shenzhen Foreign Affairs Office met with a visiting delegation led by Kajtiti Wiwatwanont, Consul General of the Kingdom of Thailand in Guangzhou. 

　　曹主任对沈勇俊总领事一行的到访表示欢迎，并介绍深圳最新经济社会发展情况。她说，去年是中国和泰国建交50周年、深圳和曼谷结好10周年，习近平主席和哇集拉隆功国王在会见时达成的重要共识，为中泰关系行稳致远指明了方向。今年是“十五五”开局之年、APEC会议在深举办之年，深圳将抢抓并用好这一重大机遇，进一步推动深圳与泰国在人文交往、文化旅游、城市治理等领域交流合作，实现合作共赢。

　　Director General Cao welcomed the delegation, and briefed the group on the latest socioeconomic developments of Shenzhen. She noted, last year marked the 50th anniversary of the diplomatic ties between China and Thailand, and the 10th birthday of Shenzhen-Bangkok friendship-city relations. President Xi Jinping and Thai King Maha Vajiralongkorn reached important consensus when meeting each other, charting the course for the steady development of China-Thailand relations. This year marks the first year of the 15th Five-Year Plan period, and will see the opening of the APEC meetings in Shenzhen. For win-win results, the city will seize and leverage this major opportunity to further exchanges and cooperation between Shenzhen and Thailand in the following areas, including people-to-people exchange, culture and tourism, and city governance.

　　沈勇俊总领事对曹主任的热情接待表示感谢。他说道，泰国驻广州总领事馆希望与深圳市政府在两国领导人的战略引领下，继续深化务实合作。近年来，两地互访频密，合作基础深厚，在高等教育、创新创业和人工智能等领域合作潜力巨大。

　　Consul General Kajtiti Wiwatwanont thanked Director General Cao for her warm hospitality. He said, his consulate general hopes, under the strategic guidance of the two national leaders, to work with Shenzhen Municipal Government for sustained pragmatic cooperation. In recent years, Thailand and Shenzhen have seen frequent exchange of visits and  well-established collaboration, promising immense potential for cooperation in such areas as tertiary education, innovation and entrepreneurship, and artificial intelligence.
