市委外办主任曹赛先会见科威特媒体记者团一行

　　5月6日，市委外办主任曹赛先会见科威特媒体记者团一行。应中国驻科威特使馆邀请，科威特媒体记者团于2024年5月5日至7日访问深圳。在深期间，媒体记者团分别赴比亚迪、华为、莲花山公园、深圳改革开放展览馆和南山能源生态园参访。

　　On May 6, Cao Saixian, Director General of  Shenzhen Foreign Affairs Office met with Kuwaiti media delegation. At the invitation of the Chinese Embassy in Kuwait, the delegation visited Shenzhen from May 5 to 7, 2024. During their stay in Shenzhen, the media delegation visited BYD, Huawei, Lianhuashan Park, Shenzhen Reform and Opening-up Exhibition Hall and Nanshan Energy Ecological Park.

　　曹赛先对科威特媒体记者团一行访深表示欢迎，并向客人介绍了深圳经济社会最新发展情况。她用四个关键词介绍深圳：年轻、开放、创新、改革。自改革开放以来，深圳从一个落后的边陲小镇逐渐发展成为一个国际化大都市，锻造出敢为人先的特区精神。希望加强与科威特媒体记者团的交流与合作，讲述好中国故事、深圳故事。

　　Director General Cao Saixian welcomed the Kuwaiti media delegation and introduced the latest economic and social development of Shenzhen. She introduced Shenzhen with four key words: young, open, innovative and reform. Since China’s reform and opening up, Shenzhen has gradually developed from a backward frontier town into an international metropolis, forging the spirit of the Special Economic Zone that dares to be first. She hoped to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with the Kuwaiti press corps to tell the story of China and Shenzhen.

　　科威特作家协会主席、科威特媒体记者团团长侯迈迪·穆提里（Hameady Almutairi）表示，中国与科威特自1971年建交以来，两国关系稳步发展，各领域合作富有成果。科威特是最早同新中国建交的海湾阿拉伯国家，也是最早同中国签署共建“一带一路”合作文件的中东国家。中科友谊历久弥坚，媒体应当传承和发扬中科友谊。

　　Hameady Almutairi, Chairman of Kuwaiti Writers' Association and Head of Kuwaiti Media Corps, said that since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Kuwait in 1971, the relations between the two countries have been developing steadily and cooperation in various fields has been fruitful. Kuwait is the earliest Gulf Arab country to establish diplomatic relations with China, and also the earliest Middle East country to sign a cooperation document with China to build the "Belt and Road" initiative. China-Kuwait friendship is everlasting, and the media is expected to pass on and carry forward the friendship between China and Kuwait.

　　科威特《政治报》（AI-Seyassah）政治新闻处高级记者赛义德·萨拉赫（Said Saleh）表示，在深圳的所见所闻令人感到兴奋。中国在新能源领域的投入非常大，产业转型也非常成功，国际影响力不断提升，相信中国的未来会越来越好。

　　Said Saleh, senior reporter of the political news office of Kuwaiti newspaper AI-Seyassah, said that what he saw and heard in Shenzhen was exciting. China has invested a lot in the new energy field, with its industrial transformation being very successful. Its international influence is increasing, and they believe that China's future will be better and better.

　　科威特《火炬报》（AI-Qabas）专栏作家阿斯拉·哈亚特（Asrar Hayat）表示，中国的科技实力备受关注，除此之外，中国的教育、医疗、旅游、人文等领域也非常有吸引力。今年9月，她将同海湾国家人文旅游团再次参访中国，希望未来不仅能更多地了解中国的产品，也能更深入地了解中国的文化。

　　Asrar Hayat, a columnist of Kuwaiti newspaper AI-Qabas, said that China's technological strength has attracted a lot of attention. In addition, China's education, medical care, tourism, and humanities are also very attractive. In September this year, she will visit China again with the humanities tour group of the Gulf countries. She hopes that in the future, they would not only learn more about products made by China, but also about the culture of China.
