曹赛先主任会见英属维尔京群岛副总理史密斯

　　5月22日，曹赛先主任与到访的英属维尔京群岛副总理兼金融服务、劳工与贸易部长罗娜·史密斯一行会面。

　　On May 22, Director General Cao Saixian of Shenzhen Foreign Affairs Office met with Deputy Premier and Minister for Financial Services, Labour and Trade of British Virgin Islands Lorna G. Smith, OBE.

　　曹赛先主任对史密斯副总理率领英属维尔京群岛代表团到访深圳表示热烈欢迎。她热情介绍了深圳最新经济社会发展情况，以及引领深圳实现跨越式发展的理念与制度创新。她表示，今年是深圳与英属维尔京群岛缔结友好交流市区关系十周年，深圳愿与英属维尔京群岛在金融服务、青年交流、教育、可持续发展等方面进一步密切合作。

　　Director General Cao expressed her warm welcome to the British Virgin Islands Delegation led by Deputy Premier Smith. She briefed them on Shenzhen’s latest socioeconomic achievements, as well as the philosophies and system innovation to Shenzhen's leapfrogging development. She said that this year marks the 10^th anniversary of the establishment of friendship relationship between Shenzhen and BVI, and Shenzhen stands ready to work with BVI to further cooperation in areas such as financial services, youth exchange, education and sustainable development.

　　史密斯副总理表示，深圳的发展成就令人印象深刻。英属维尔京群岛十分重视与深圳的交往，正探讨在深圳设立相关金融服务机构或项目的可能性。期待以两地结好十周年为契机，深化在科技创新、新能源汽车等领域的交流与合作。

　　Deputy Premier Smith said that Shenzhen has achieved impressive development success. British Virgin Islands attaches great importance to exchanges with Shenzhen, and is exploring the possibility of setting up relevant financial services institutions or project in Shenzhen. Taking the 10^th anniversary of the friendly relations between the two places as an oportunity, BVI looks forward to deepen cooperation in scientific and tecnological innovation, new energy vehicles and other fields.

　　史密斯副总理一行此次访深还会见了深圳市贸促委负责人，与深圳企业代表进行了深入而富有成效的交流。

　　The delegation also met with CCPIT Shenzhen and had in-depth and fruitful conversations with representatives of Shenzhen enterprises.
