4月8日，市委外办主任曹赛先前往利比里亚驻华大使馆，与大使杜德利·托马斯先生（Dudley McKinley Thomas）进行会谈。
On April 8, Director General Cao Saixian of Shenzhen Foreign Affairs Office paid a visit to the Embassy of Liberia in Beijing and had a meeting with the ambassador Mr. Dudley McKinley Thomas.
托马斯大使热情接待了曹赛先一行。大使首先回顾了去年利比里亚总统博阿凯对深圳进行的成功访问，并对深圳市对博阿凯总统给予的热情接待再次表达感谢。博阿凯总统访深期间出席了中国-利比里亚贸易与投资促进论坛，会议达成的合作成果丰硕，利比里亚期待与深圳加强在农业现代化、城市规划、能源电力等方面的合作。
Mr. Thomas warmly received Mme. Cao and her delegation. The ambassador firstly reviewed the successful visit of Liberian President Joseph Nyumah Boakai to Shenzhen last year, and expressed his gratitude again to Shenzhen for the enthusiastic reception of President Boakai. During his visit to Shenzhen, President Boakai attended the China-Liberia Trade and Investment Promotion Forum, which had fruitful results. Liberia is looking forward to strengthening cooperation with Shenzhen in the areas of agricultural modernization, urban planning, energy and power.
曹赛先感谢托马斯大使热情友好的接待，并对其提出的合作提议予以积极回应，表示去年博阿凯总统到访深圳，增强了深圳与利比里亚开展合作的信心，深圳已有不少企业计划赴利进行投资，将以实际行动落实两国领导人会见达成的共识。
Mme. Cao Saixian thanked ambassador Thomas for his warm reception, and responded positively to his cooperation proposal. President Boakai's visit to Shenzhen last year has strengthened Shenzhen's confidence in cooperation with Liberia. A few enterprises in Shenzhen have already planned to go to Liberia for investment, so as to push forward the implementation of consensus reached at the meeting of the leaders of the two countries.
