市委外办主任曹赛先会见马来西亚砂拉越州公用事业及电信部部长朱莱希·诺拉威

　　7月15日，市委外办主任曹赛先会见来访的马来西亚砂拉越州公用事业及电信部部长朱莱希·诺拉威一行。

　　On July 15th, Cao Saixian, Director General of the Shenzhen Foreign Affairs Office, met with the visiting delegation led by Dato Sri Julaihi Narawi, Minister for Utility and Telecommunication of Sarawak, Malaysia.

　　曹赛先主任向诺拉威部长一行介绍，深圳是一座年轻、创新、绿色、开放的城市，表示希望与砂拉越州在经贸科技、文化旅游等方面多开展交流与合作。

　　Director General Cao Saixian introduced to Minister Julaihi Narawi and his delegation that Shenzhen is a young, innovative, green and open city, and expressed the hope to carry out more exchanges and cooperation with Sarawak in such fields as economy and trade, science and technology, and culture and tourism.

　　诺拉威部长介绍了砂拉越州，该州是马来西亚面积最大的州，人口约251万，有30个民族，共有12个省，被称为“犀鸟之乡”，首府古晋市。砂拉越州是马来西亚经济大州，油气、矿产等自然资源丰富，经济发展势头良好。近年来大力推动同中国在基础设施、水利、交通、数字经济、可再生能源等领域交流合作。诺拉威部长对深圳的创新与活力，以及经济科技的迅速发展感到钦佩，希望通过此次访问开展与我市在水电基础设施、可持续发展及电信领域的合作，通过学习深圳的先进技术及应用，促进砂拉越州在水力、可再生能源、电信等领域的发展，促进两地政府及机构之间的常态化交流与合作。

　　Minister Julaihi Narawi introduced Sarawak, noting that it is the largest state in Malaysia with a population of about 2.51 million, 30 ethnic groups and 12 administrative divisions, and is known as the "Land of the Hornbills" with Kuching as its capital. As a major economic state in Malaysia, Sarawak is rich in natural resources such as oil, gas and minerals, and maintains a sound momentum of economic development. In recent years, it has vigorously promoted exchanges and cooperation with China in infrastructure, water conservancy, transportation, digital economy, renewable energy and other fields. Minister Julaihi Narawi expressed admiration for Shenzhen's innovation, vitality and the rapid development of its economy and science and technology. He hoped that through this visit, cooperation with Shenzhen in water and electricity infrastructure, sustainable development and telecommunications could be carried out. By learning from Shenzhen's advanced technologies and their applications, Sarawak's development in hydropower, renewable energy and telecommunications could be promoted, and regular exchanges and cooperation between the governments and institutions of the two places could be enhanced.

　　Relevant officials from the Municipal Water Resources Bureau, Transportation Bureau, Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, and Bureau of Science, Technology and Innovation attended the meeting and shared pertinant information.
