市委外办主任曹赛先会见印度驻广州总领事何继往一行

　　8月1日，市委外办主任曹赛先会见到访的印度驻广州总领事何继往（Shambhu Hakki）一行。

　　On August 1, Director General Cao Saixian of Shenzhen Foreign Affairs Office had a meeting with the visiting delegation led by Consul General of India in Guangzhou Shambhu Hakki. 

　　曹主任对何继往总领事一行的到访表示欢迎，并介绍深圳最新经济社会发展情况。她说，中国和印度都是人口大国，深圳和印度年轻群体广，两地合作潜力巨大。今年是中国和印度建交75周年，亦是深圳经济特区建立45周年，深圳将加快打造更具全球影响力的现代化国际大都市。希望以此为契机，进一步推动深圳与印度在文化旅游、人才交往和优质农产品进出口等领域交流合作，实现合作共赢。

　　Director General Cao welcomed the delegation and briefed the group on Shenzhen’s latest socioeconomic developments. She mentioned that China and India are major populous nations, while Shenzhen and India are home to numerous young people, promising vast potential for cooperation. This year marks the 75^th anniversary of China-India diplomatic ties and the 45^th anniversary of Shenzhen Special Economic Zone. Against this backdrop, the city will work faster to build itself into a more globally influential and modern cosmopolis. By availing this opportunity, Shenzhen hopes to further its exchanges and cooperation with India across the board for win-win results, including culture, tourism, talent exchange as will as import and export of premium agricultural products.

　　何继往总领事对曹主任的热情接待表示感谢。他代表印度驻广州总领事馆和在深印度籍人士，对深圳市政府长期以来的支持表示感谢。他谈到，深圳是一座充满活力的大都市，愿积极支持两地在经贸投资、科技创新、人文教育等领域友好交流合作。

　　Consul General Hakki thanked Director General Cao for her hospitality. On behalf of his Consulate General and Indian people in Shenzhen, he thanked the Shenzhen government for its long-term support. Shenzhen is a dynamic metropolis, he added, hoping to support the two sides to enhance the friendly exchanges and cooperation in multiple areas, including economy, trade, science and technology, culture, education and people-to-people exchanges.
