  7月16日,市委外办主任曹赛先会见美国驻广州总领事高葆玲。

  On July 16, 2026, Ms. Cao Saixian, Director General of the Foreign Affairs Office of Shenzhen Municipal People's Government, met with Ms. Pauline Kao, Consul General of the United States of America in Guangzhou.

  曹赛先对高葆玲访深表示欢迎,并介绍了深圳经济社会发展最新发展情况及深圳与美国经贸往来合作。她表示,作为中国改革开放的前沿阵地、联通国际的重要枢纽,深圳正以服务APEC会议为契机,加快打造更具全球影响力的经济中心城市和现代化国际大都市,持续扩大高水平对外开放。深圳将持续优化提升营商环境,支持包括美国企业在内的外资企业的经营与发展。希望与总领事一道,推动双方在友城交往、经贸合作、人员往来、绿色低碳等方面深化合作。

  Director General Cao welcomed Consul General Pauline Kao and briefed the delegation on Shenzhen’s latest economic and social developments as well as its economic and trade cooperation with the United States. She noted that as a frontier of China’s reform and opening-up and a key hub connecting the world, Shenzhen is taking the opportunity of hosting the APEC meetings to accelerate its transformation into a globally influential economic hub and a modern international metropolis, while continuing to expand high-standard opening-up. Shenzhen will keep optimizing its business environment and support the operation and development of foreign enterprises, including American companies. She expressed the hope to work with the Consul General Kao to deepen cooperation in areas such as friendship city exchanges, economic and trade cooperation, people-to-people exchanges, and green and low-carbon development.

  高葆玲感谢曹赛先的热情接待。她表示,总领馆高度重视加强美国与深圳的交流合作,并对深圳为美国企业在深发展提供的大力支持表示感谢。她期待以APEC会议为契机,进一步推动深圳与美国在各领域的务实合作。

  Consul General Kao thanked Director General Cao Saixian for her warm reception. She expressed that Consulate General of the United States in Guangzhou attaches great importance to strengthening exchanges and cooperation between the United States and Shenzhen, and is deeply grateful for Shenzhen’s strong support for the development of American enterprises in the city. She looked forward to taking the APEC meetings as an opportunity to further promote practical cooperation between Shenzhen and the United States in various fields.
