市委外办主任曹赛先会见美国华商总会代表团

　　近日，市委外办主任曹赛先会见美国华商总会会长孙志中及加利福尼亚州密尔布瑞市市长（Millbrae）冯嘉辉（Anders Feng）一行。

　　Cao Saixian, Director General of the Foreign Affairs Office of Shenzhen Municipal People’s Government, recently met with a delegation including Sun Zhizhong, President of the Chinese American Association of Commerce (hereinafter referred to as the Association), and Anders Feng, Mayor of Millbrae, California.

　　曹赛先主任介绍了深圳经济社会发展近况，以及深圳与美国在经贸合作、城市间交流等领域情况。她表示，美国华商总会致力于弘扬中华文化，维护侨胞权益，也为中美两地的文化交流、经贸发展发挥了积极作用，希望总会利用其网络和渠道优势，为促进深圳与旧金山等美国城市的经贸联系和人文交流提供支持。

　　Director General Cao Saixian briefed the delegation on Shenzhen’s recent economic and social development as well as its cooperation with the United States in trade, economic collaboration, and intercity exchanges. She noted that the Association has long been committed to promoting Chinese culture and safeguarding the rights of overseas Chinese, while also playing an active role in advancing cultural exchanges and economic ties between China and the United States. She expressed hope that the Association would leverage its network and resources to further strengthen economic, trade, and people-to-people ties between Shenzhen and U.S. cities such as San Francisco.

　　孙志中会长对深圳经济社会发展取得的成就给予了高度评价。他介绍了美国华商总会的历史、宗旨及当前业务重点领域和方向，表示愿发挥桥梁作用，推动旧金山湾区与深圳的友好交流。

　　President Sun Zhizhong spoke highly of Shenzhen’s achievements in economic and social development. He introduced the history, mission, and current priorities of the Association, emphasizing its readiness to serve as a bridge to foster friendly exchanges between the San Francisco Bay Area and Shenzhen.

　　冯嘉辉介绍了密尔布瑞市的地理、人口、城市文化和特色。他表示，密尔布瑞是加州重要交通枢纽，文化多元、崇尚创新和绿色发展，与深圳发展理念高度契合，愿两地加强信息沟通和人员往来，促进各领域友好交流与合作。

　　Mayor Anders Feng provided an overview of Millbrae’s geography, demographics, and cultural characteristics. He highlighted that as a key transportation hub in California, Millbrae embraces cultural diversity and is dedicated to innovation and green development—values highly aligned with Shenzhen’s development philosophy. He expressed willingness to enhance information sharing and personnel exchanges between the two cities to promote friendly cooperation across various fields.
