德国纽伦堡市民团成功访问深圳

　　近日，应深圳市外办邀请，德国纽伦堡市国际关系局副局长包瑟（Silvia Preusser）女士率市民团一行23人访问深圳。此次访问旨在进一步增进两座友城之间的相互了解，深化在民间交往、城市发展、科技创新等领域的交流与合作。

　　From April 7 to 8, at the invitation of Shenzhen Foreign Affairs Office, Ms. Silvia Preusser, Deputy Head of the International Relations Department of the City of Nuremberg, led a 23-member citizens' delegation to visit Shenzhen. The visit aimed to further enhance mutual understanding between the two sister cities and deepen exchanges and cooperation in areas such as people-to-people exchange, urban development, and scientific and technological innovation.

　　在深期间，深圳市人民对外友好协会专职副会长顾挺会见了代表团一行。顾挺对代表团到访表示热烈欢迎，并简要介绍了深圳经济社会发展的最新情况。他表示，深圳与纽伦堡大区自1997年正式缔结友好城市关系以来，在经贸、科技、文化、教育等领域开展了广泛而富有成效的合作。希望双方以此次市民团访问为契机，进一步拓展民间交流渠道，推动两地友好关系再上新台阶。

　　During their stay in Shenzhen, Mr. Gu Ting, Vice President of Shenzhen People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, met with the delegation. Gu extended a warm welcome to the delegation and briefly introduced the city’s latest socioeconomic development. He noted that since Shenzhen and Nuremberg formally established sister-city relations in 1997, the two sides have carried out extensive and fruitful cooperation in economy, trade, science and technology, culture, and education. He expressed the hope that both sides would take this visit as an opportunity to further expand channels for people-to-people exchanges and bring partnerships to a new level.

　　包瑟对深圳市的热情接待表示感谢。她说，纽伦堡与深圳虽然远隔重洋，但两座城市在创新精神、产业活力以及对未来发展的追求上有着诸多共鸣。此次率团来访的成员涵盖经济、文化、教育等多个领域，大家非常珍惜这次实地了解深圳的机会，期待未来能推动更多具体项目合作。此外，包瑟表示，纽伦堡市长柯尼希将于5月底率团访问深圳，市民团此访正是为市长团访深热身和铺垫，相信随着高层互访的推进，两地在智能制造、职业教育、可持续发展等领域的合作将迎来更广阔的空间。

　　Ms. Preusser expressed her gratitude for Shenzhen's warm hospitality. She remarked that although Nuremberg and Shenzhen are separated by vast oceans, the two cities share many similarities in innovative spirit, industrial vitality, and the pursuit of future development. The delegation members, coming from diverse sectors such as economy, culture, and education, deeply valued the opportunity to learn about Shenzhen firsthand and looked forward to more cooperation in the future. Furthermore, Ms. Preusser announced that Marcus König, Nuremberg Mayor, will lead a delegation to visit Shenzhen at the end of May. The visit this time serves as a warm-up for the mayoral trip. She expressed confidence that with the advancement of high-level exchanges, cooperation between the two cities in areas such as intelligent manufacturing, vocational education, and sustainable development will embrace even broader prospects.

　　为了让德国朋友更直观、深入地了解深圳，市外办精心安排了丰富的参访行程。

　　To help the delegates gain a more direct and in-depth understanding of Shenzhen, the Foreign Affairs Office arranged a rich itinerary of visits.

　　在深圳博物馆，代表团参观了深圳市改革开放成果展。一件件实物、一张张图片、一幕幕场景复原，生动再现了深圳从一个边陲农业县蝶变为现代化国际化创新型城市的发展历程。代表团成员们不时驻足询问，对深圳速度、深圳精神表示由衷赞叹。

　　At the Shenzhen Museum, the delegation visited the exhibition on the achievements of Shenzhen's reform and opening-up. Through artifacts, photographs, and miniatures, the exhibition vividly presented Shenzhen's transformation from a remote agricultural county into a modern, international, and innovation-oriented metropolis. During the tour, the delegates would pause to ask questions and express sincere appreciation for the "Shenzhen Speed" and the "Shenzhen Spirit".

　　在盐田人才公园，代表团领略了深圳“山海连城”的生态之美与尊才尚贤的城市氛围。公园将人才元素与自然景观有机融合的理念，给客人留下了深刻印象。

　　At the Yantian Talent Park, the delegation enjoyed Shenzhen's ecological beauty, which features an integration of mountains and sea. And they also learned about the city's respect for the talent. The park's concept of combining talent with natural landscape left a deep impression on the guests.

　　在华大基因，代表团深入了解了深圳市生命科学领域的前沿技术和产业化成果。华大基因在基因测序、生物科技等方面的全球领先实践，引发了代表团成员的浓厚兴趣，双方围绕未来可能的合作方向进行了现场交流。

　　At BGI , the delegation gained insights into Shenzhen's cutting-edge technologies and their commercialized achievements in life sciences. BGI's best practices in gene sequencing and biotechnology sparked strong interest among the delegates and there were enthusiastic discussions on possible future cooperation opportunities.

　　此次纽伦堡市民团访深，不仅是一次友城间的例行互访，更是一次充满温度的民间对话。深圳与纽伦堡的友谊之树，必将随着一次次真诚的交流而愈加枝繁叶茂。

　　The visit of the Nuremberg citizens' delegation to Shenzhen was not only a routine exchange between sister cities but also a warm people-to-people dialogue. The tree of friendship between Shenzhen and Nuremberg will surely grow ever more flourishing with each sincere exchange.
